Palatine Gymnasts Head to State Meet
Gymnasts from Fremd High School and Palatine High School will be competing in the state meet at Palatine High School this weekend.

The Fremd High School gymnastics team placed second at sectionals with a score of 146.225 and has qualified for the state meet, according to the Illinois High School Association website. The team finished behind Crystal Lake’s Prairie Ridge High School co-op, which had a total score of 149.525 at the Feb. 4 Fremd High School sectional. In addition, several Fremd and Palatine High School gymnasts qualified individually for the state meet, which will be held at Palatine High School on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16.
