Letter to the Editor: Why I support Sharon Langlotz-Johnson for Palatine Township Supervisor

Township resident Debra Griffey explains why Langlotz-Johnson has her vote for Palatine Township supervisor in the Tuesday, February 26 primary.

"Why I Support Sharon Langlotz-Johnson for Palatine Township Supervisor"     Like many people I have watched the going-on's in government with varying degrees of bemusement, bafflement and growing outrage. Nationally and locally, so many of our elected officials fail to understand that government's purpose is to serve its constituents in a fiscally responsible manner, while also providing for the more fragile members of our community. Many officials become career policiticians, doing no more than is necessary to ensure their re-election. Palatine Township Primary Results: Supervisor

Check back throughout the night for election results for Palatine Township supervisor.

Updated 11:15 p.m.  Challenger Sharon Langlotz-Johnson is taking on incumbent Palatine Township Supervisor Linda Fleming in the Feb. 26 primary. The winner will move on to the April general election. For more on the election visit our Palatine Township Primary Election Central page. Langlotz-Johnson is part of a slate of candidates who call themselves Doing Things Better for Palatine Township. Aaron Del Mar, Palatine Township Republican Organization chairman says Doing Things Better for Palatine Township is the slate that is recognized by the organization.  Fleming is part of a group of candidates named the Republican Township Team.
