Palatine Polar Plunge Seeking Participants
The event, which will include participants from Arlington Heights and Palatine law enforcement, will be held on Sunday, March 3. Are you going to take the plunge?
Be a fan of brrr-avery! Support Special Olympics athletes by jumping into the icy waters of Twin Lakes at noon on Sunday, March 3. The funds raised from the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge® will benefit Special Olympics Illinois North Suburban Cook/Area 18, which serves athletes with intellectual disabilities in Cook County located in the north of Cook County. All Polar Plungers are required to collect a minimum of $75 in donations. Check-in begins at 10 a.m. at Twin Lakes, Salt Creek Park District. Lunch will follow the Plunge at Twin Lakes, Salt Creek Park District. Lunch is free for Plungers and $10 for others.
