Four D-211 Students get Perfect ACT Score

Four District 211 Student achieved perfect scores on the ACT.

Four District 211 students scored a perfect 36 on the ACT this year, a score only 0.04 percent of students achieved in the nation last year.  According to Township High School District 211, three of the four perfect scores attend high schools in Palatine. Soumik Biswas and Fiona Helgren of Fremd High School, Jack Riedy of Palatine High School and Nikita Pillai of Conant High School all earned a top composite score of 36 on the ACT. More than 1.6 million students took the ACT last year, with just 704 recording a score of 36 on the exam in the nation. According to the ACT organization, less than one-tenth of one percent of all test takers get a perfect score. Palatine High School Student Scores Perfect on ACT

Emily Liquin scored a perfect 36 on the ACT.

Palatine High School junior Emily Liquin scored a perfect 36 on the American College Test (ACT). Liquin acheived the perfect score in February. A 36 is the highest possible composite score. The ACT is taken by about 60 percent of college-bound students. The test also is taken by all high school juniors in Illinois as part of the Prairie State Achievement Examination. The ACT is comprised of tests in English, mathematics, reading and science reasoning. Each of the tests is scored on a scale of 1 to 36. A students ACT score is the average of the four test scores. On average, less than one-tenth of one percent of all test takers earns a top score.
