The Palatine Pirates had a comeback win over the Fremd Vikings with a 54 to 49 victory in the Mid-Suburban League West play Friday, the Chicago Tribune reports. Roosevelt Smart of Palatine scored 28 points in the game, the Tribune reports, and the win causes the Pirates and Vikings to now be tied in the MSL West Race.
After beating the Deerfield Warriors 57-53 Monday, Palatine varsity basketball heads away to play Noble Street Charter School of Chicago, the Journal and Topics reports.

The Palatine Pirates varsity basketball team's victory of 57-53 against the Deerfield Warriors Monday has moved them one step further in the Ed Molitar Thanksgiving Classic, the Journal and Topics reports.
