Palatine HS Cupcake Fundraiser: Volunteers and Cupcakes Needed

A cupcake fundraiser will be held in early March at Palatine High School to benefit special education clubs and activities. Currently, volunteers to assist at the event are being sought, as well as individuals willing to bake cupcakes and donate them to the cause. Dawn Shepherd, a special education teacher at Palatine High School said the goal is to get 4,000 cupcakes donated to help to support the many programs that benefit students with disabilities that attend PHS. The programs are not sponsored by the high school or the high school district. “There are so many wonderful activities we provide for our special education students here, but it is up to us to raise the money to make them happen,” Shepard said.
