Misericordia Fundraiser at Durty Nellies Saturday

Fundraising event now in its second year will benefit Misericordia Home in Chicago, where 20-year-old twin Palatine natives live and receive their care.

The 2nd Annual Misericordia Rocks! A benefit for Misericordia Home in Chicago will be held Saturday, November 24 at Durty Nellies. The event, now in it second year, is organized by lifetime Palatine resident Paul Iuorio. Iuorio's 20-year-old nephews, Alex and Michael Iuorio who are twins, have lived at the Misericordia Home in Chicago for the last two years where they receive their care.  The Iuorio family as a whole have been residents of Palatine for the last 50 years. Paul and his brothers all graduated from Palatine High School. Vince, the third oldest brother in the family and his wife Julie, are Alex and Michael's parents.
