Presbyterian Church of Palatine Nativity Scene Comes to Life Friday

The event will include actors and live animals, entertainment, a petting zoo, and a candlelight worship service all at the church located at Palatine and Rohlwing Roads.

The Live Nativity at the Presbyterian Church of Palatine will be on display this Friday at the corner of Palatine and Rohlwing Roads. Starting at 4:30 p.m. on December 21, members of all faiths are invited to witness the live Nativity Scene at 800 E. Palatine Road. The event will include actors and live animals playing their part in the depiction of Christ’s birth, said Jess Bedsole, a member of the Presbyterian Church who is part of the communications ministry.  Luminaries will light the sidewalks around the church to serve as a guide for those who attend. “It is wonderful to watch the children in awe, and then the parents communicate the story of the nativity to their children,” said Michelle Johns, director of Christian Education.  “…
