Diana R. Zeiger, 77, was a resident of Palatine for 43 years. She was born on March 20, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI, and passed away February 25 at her home surrounded by her family. Diana was the beloved wife of Richard Zeiger; loving mother of Susan (the late Jeffrey) Heckert and David (Lorie) Zeiger; cherished grandmother of Stefani and Ricky Zeiger; dear sister of Helen Roberts and the late Georgia Newton; fond aunt and cousin to many. Diana received her degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She and her husband started dating during their freshman year and subsequently, married in 1958.
