Richard A. Price, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21st. He was a veteran of WWII Pacific Theater, was awarded two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and other war related medals. He retired from Navistar in 1981. Richard was born to Ralph Kay Price and Jenny Oman Price in New Bedford, Massachusetts in May 1921. Richard is survived by his wife Frances E. Price; his children Richard A. (Marilyn) Price, Jr., Cynthia (Clifton) Haslop and Keith (Debra) Price; proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Nellie Edna Baker (nee Nelson), 94, lived in Palatine since 1959. She was born August 17, 1918 in Anaconda, Montana, and passed away February 16, 2013 at ManorCare Nursing Center in Rolling Meadows. She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Palatine. Survivors include her daughters, Elizabeth (Kris) Gronert and Jeanette (Michael) Grondin; grandchildren, Stephen Kabaker, and Justin, Nicole and Rachel Grondin. Harry was born on September 19, 1932 in Chicago, the son of the late Ernst and Elsie (nee Zimmermann) Rueckel and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15th after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a Korean War Air Force Veteran, and lived life to its fullest. He enjoyed many hobbies including cooking, gardening, traveling, bird watching, listening to classical music and playing his violin.
