Fremd Students Face Charges From Inverness Brawl, Stabbing
Five current and former Fremd High School students face charges related to a May 26 brawl.
Five current and former Fremd High School students face criminal charges related to a May 26 brawl in Inverness during which an 18-year-old was stabbed. Inverness Police Chief Bob Haas said four juveniles between the ages of 15 and 17 have been charged with fighting in public. The police also charged an 18-year-old who was stabbed and taken to Northwest Community Hospital with minor injuries. The Inverness Police Department declined to release the name of the 18-year-old, despite the criminal charges. Haas said the juvenile who stabbed the 18-year-old does not face additional charges because he was attacked and did not initiate the confrontation. The fighting in public charge is a misdemeanor.
