The Palatine Board of Health and Medical Reserve Corps are sponsoring a community blood drive at village hall Wednesday, April 3. Appointments are recommended, and those who would like to donate are advised to eat well, stay hydrated and bring your ID. The blood drive will be held Wednesday, April 3 from noon until 6 p.m. at Palatine Village Hall, 200 E. Wood Street, in Council Chambers. Palatine hosts the “Save 3 Lives” community blood drive on Wednesday.
The Palatine Board of Health and Medical Reserve Corps will host the “Save 3 Lives” community blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at village hall, at 200 E. Wood Street in Palatine. The actual donation process is quick, easy, and painless. And always remember, with every donation that you give, you are saving up to three lives! Countryside Association for People with Disabilities is partnering with LifeSource to host a blood drive Monday, Feb. 28. The drive will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 21154 W. Shirley Rd., Palatine. Countryside also will host an informational open house. A press release states that the event will be a chance to learn about paid employment opportunities and skills training that Countryside provides to hundreds of individuals with developmental disabilities. Countryside was formed in 1954 to advocate on behalf of persons with disabilities and to support them in their efforts to live and work successfully. Countryside serves more than 650 individuals with disabilities and their families who reside in northern Cook and Lake Counties.
