Bank Robber Hits Chase Bank at Nearby Dominicks

Suspect got away with a blue bag of cash after making the teller believe he had a weapon, he is described as a white male, standing 5 foot eight inches tall and heavyset, the Arlington Cardinal reports.

A bank robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in a blue bank bag Thursday night after implying he had a weapon to a teller at the Dominick's Chase Bank, 1160 Lake Cook Road, Buffalo Grove, the Arlington Cardinal reports.  The suspect, according to the Arlington Cardinal, is described as a heavyset white male in his 30's, and was wearing a black knit hat and a black and white windbreaker at the time of the robbery.  There have been a string of robberies in the area over the last couple of months.  A still unidentified suspect robbed the PNC Bank in Buffalo Grove on November 20, and then on November 23, Glenview State Bank in Arlington Heights also was robbed.   The unkown suspect in that case is believed to have robbed four …

A serial robber has struck again, this time in Arlington Heights. The man suspected in four other bank heists, robbed Glenview State Bank at 1801 S. Arlington Heights Road Friday, November 23, according to BanditTrackerChicago.com. Described as a white man about 6 feet tall, the robber did not use or show a weapon, and no one was hurt, the Daily Herald reported. He passed a note to a teller and fled the Arlington Heights bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery occurred in the morning on Black Friday, Glenview State Bank is located near the intersection of S. Arlington Heights Road and W. Golf Road.
