Bank Robber Hits Chase Bank at Nearby Dominicks

A bank robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash in a blue bank bag Thursday night after implying he had a weapon to a teller at the Dominick's Chase Bank, 1160 Lake Cook Road, Buffalo Grove, the Arlington Cardinal reports. The suspect, according to the Arlington Cardinal, is described as a heavyset white male in his 30's, and was wearing a black knit hat and a black and white windbreaker at the time of the robbery. There have been a string of robberies in the area over the last couple of months. A still unidentified suspect robbed the PNC Bank in Buffalo Grove on November 20, and then on November 23, Glenview State Bank in Arlington Heights also was robbed.
