Reports: Woman Who Died In Fire Committed Suicide

The Arlington Heights woman who died in an apartment fire this week committed suicide, the Daily Herald reported.

The 36-year-old died early Thursday morning in a fire at the Hancock Square apartment complex at Arlington Station. The woman lived alone in the fourth floor apartment and was identified by the Chicago Tribune as Iesha Bailey. The Chicago Medical Examiner's office found that the woman died from carbon monoxide intoxication, smoke inhalation and from multiple self-inflicted cuts, the Daily Herald reported. The fire is believed to have started in the bedroom. Bailey was found unconcsious and unresponsive in a different room in the apartment with no burns on her body. Arlington Heights Fire Victim Identified

The 36-year-old woman lived alone in the apartment where a fire broke out early Thursday morning at Hancock Square at Arlington Station. The cause of the fire and circumstances surrounding it remain under investigation.

A 36-year-old woman is dead after fire occurred early Thursday morning at the Hancock Square apartment complex at Arlington Station, the Arlington Heights Police Department confirmed Thursday. The victim, Iesha Bailey, lived alone in the fourth floor apartment, according to the Chicago Tribune.  The fire is believed to have begun in Baily's bedroom, according to the Chicago Tribune, but she was found unconscious and unresponsive in a separate room with no burns on her body.  Firefighters reponded to a fire in a fourth floor apartment on the south side of the complex building, 299 N.
