400 March Against Abortion Saturday in Palatine
The group started at St. Theresa Church and walked to Volunteer Plaza Saturday in preparation for the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade on Tuesday, the 'Daily Herald' Reports.
The 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is Tuesday, January 22, and a group of 400 people marched Saturday from St. Theresa Church to Volunteer Plaza to take a stand against abortion, the Daily Herald reports. Before the march organized by the Pro-Life Action League began, speakers told stories of how abortion has affected their lives, according to the Daily Herald, and the participants headed to the plaza carrying signs that said "Honk if you love babies."
