Palatine Jaycees Seek Artists for Juried Art Fair
Artist applications will be taken now through March 15 for the Palatine Jaycees 9th Annual Juried Art Fair.
The Palatine Jaycees are taking artist applications for their 9th annual juried art fair, “An Art Affair Around the Square,” on September 7th and 8th from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM in Towne Square in Downtown Palatine at the corners of Smith Street and Palatine Road. Artists from all specialties, including water color, acrylic, oil, pottery, fine jewelry, stained glass, pastels and others are encouraged to apply. Applications are due March 15th and can be found online at artaffairpalatine.com or by email atjayceeartfair@yahoo.com. I enjoy this show every year! I'm glad it is being put on again. However, I imagine the requirement to "include a photo of your booth" is discouraging to fine artists who might not normally display at shows like this, regardless of talent and skill level. more ›
