Play It Again Sports has been the swap shop for athletes for the last 25 years. Boys, girls, men and women have been coming to this Palatine location in the Park Place Shopping Center since 2003 to trade in quality used gear or to buy new equipment. Hockey is the most popular sport at this store, according to manager Michael May, and everything from skates to sticks to helmets to goalie masks are available. You can also get your hockey and figure skates sharpened, your skis and snowboards waxed, even your baseball glove re-laced, often the same day. Golfers have an assortment of clubs, balls, bags and shoes to choose from. Exercise machines, treadmills, and free weights are available, as well as a complete assortment of clothing, shoes and paraphernalia for everyone who wants to work up a sweat.
