Fundraiser for Palatine's Rosie the Rock Star Saturday and Sunday
This Saturday and Sunday, all you have to do is stop by Hot Dog Richies, 200 N. Northwest Highway and grab a bite to eat. 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Palatine resident Rosie Colucci.
Stop by Palatine's Hot Dog Richie's this Saturday and/or Sunday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. and have lunch or dinner - 20% of the proceeds will be donated to Rosie Colucci.
Colucci of Palatine is a 9-year-old lifetime resident who suffers from an inoperable brain tumor. The first diagnosis came when she was just an infant, but despite it all, Colucci maintains a sunny disposition and positive attitude. Most recently she spent nearly two weeks at Lurie Children's Hospital in early April undergoing surgery for a fluid build-up in her body.
Raffle prizes also will be available for purchase, to help raise additional funds. Participating business include:
