The Soul Notes will perform at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Jan. 22.

The Soul Notes, an a cappella septet, specializing in jazz, traditional and popular classics, will perform at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine on Sunday, Jan. 22, at 4 p.m. The performance is part of Immanuel’s monthly Music to Move Our Next Generation concert series.

Formed in 1996, Soul Notes has performed throughout Illinois, Northern California and Minnesota.

A reception will follow the concert, providing guests with an opportunity to meet the performers. The Music to Move Our Next Generation concerts are free and open to the public. All proceeds from a free-will offering will be used for the restoration and renewal of the church’s impressive 1,800-pipe, 35-rank Wicks organ.
