Hi there! I’m Patches, and I am an 8 year old big snuggle bug who has a favorite hobby – cuddling! And now that the weather is getting cooler, you’ll enjoy my incredible talent of warming your lap and keeping your bed warm!

I sat in a shelter for quite some time until Young at Heart Pet Rescue brought me into their adoption program. I’m enjoying the freedom of stretching my legs and sitting in volunteers’ laps at the cat adoption center, and am slowly losing weight. I didn’t really have much to do other than eat before coming to Young at Heart, so you’ll have to excuse my extra, um, “fluff”.

I am great with the other cats and would not mind one little bit if my new family had other feline family members to keep me company. I’m so incredibly sweet that I became an instant favorite of all of the volunteers. I love people, too! Toys are lots of fun, especially the dangling, string kinds! I love those!

I love to daydream about the family that will take me home and love me forever. Are you my new family? Please come meet me. I’m such a sweet girl that you won’t be able to resist me!

I’m spayed, up to date on my vaccinations, and microchipped, and my blood test results say I’m a healthy girl. I’m also front paw declawed. I’ve also tested negative for FIV/FLV. My adoption fee of only $55 is good for just me, or pair of Young at Heart cats (approved adoption application required). I’d love to purr you to sleep at night, and warm your lap while you watch TV. And if you already have a feline friend, I’m the purrfect friend for both of you!
