District 15 Now Accepting Preschool Registrations

District 15's Early Childhood Program is now accepting registrations for its Preschool Integration Program.

District 15’s Early Childhood Program is now accepting registrations for its Preschool Integration Program.

Children living within District 15’s boundaries who turn 3 or 4 years old by September 1 may register for the program. As children turn 3 or 4 years old during the school year, they may also enroll.

The Preschool Integration Program is unique in that it blends students who have special needs into classes with students who do not. The children have a chance to play and learn together in an accepting and nurturing environment.

The Preschool Integration Program implements the Creative Curriculum, which includes children as active learners and is aligned with the Illinois Early Learning Standards. Children have ample opportunities to play and socialize, and engage in readiness and language activities. Classes are limited to 18 students, and they are taught by certified early childhood teachers who are supported by a strong team of professionals.

Classes are offered at John G. Conyers Learning Academy, which is located at 2800 W. Central Road in Rolling Meadows. Classes meet for four half-days a week, Monday through Thursday, at a cost of $175 per month. Morning sessions are from 9:05–11:35 a.m. Afternoon sessions meet from 1:05–3:35 p.m. Busing is available at an additional cost of $370 for the year, payable in advance.
