Lower Your Property Taxes---Palatine Township is Open For Appeals

Residents of Palatine Township recently received their new property re-assessment notice from the Cook County Assessor.  In the notice the new "fair market value" of your home is listed.  If you feel that the value of your home is too high an appeal can be filed.  The Palatine Township Assessor's Office can assist you by helping you gather information on comparable properties.  Your Assessor's Office will also file the appeal for you, all at no charge.  The deadline to file your appeal is Thursday, June 20th.

Stop by the Assessor's Office to have your appeal filed.  We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4 PM; we are also open on Saturday from 8:30 AM to Noon.
