Chicago Lit Fest 2011 - June 4th and 5th

A literary extravaganza is happening in Chicago this weekend.

The Chicago Lit Fest has dozens of authors speaking and presenting, two blocks of vendors, exhibits, and author signings, and a host of activities, including cooking demonstrations and Lil' Lit Park/Neverland for the little ones.

This map of the grounds gives you some idea of the scope of this two-day event. 

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators will have a booth for local writers (DD on the map, fourth exhibit in on Clark Street), and I will be signing copies of my novel, Life, Liberty, and Pursuit from 12-2 p.m. Saturday. But I plan on going early and staying late, because there is so much to see and do at the Lit Fest – including a puppet show!
