Palatine's Outdoor Pools Open for Summer Season

It's time to make a splash. 

The Palatine Park District's three outdoor pools have opened for the summer season. The Family Aquatic Center opened on May 24 while Birchwood Pool and Eagle Pool opened on June 7, according to the park district website. 

The Family Aquatic Center, at 340 E. Palatine Road, has two 180-foot slide, a waterfall and cave-like area, sand-play area, water play bubblers and sprayers
 and a six-lane lap pool. Hours of operation can be found online.

Birchwood Pool, at 435 W. Illinois Avenue, has diving boards, a 1,000 square foot tots pool with shark slide, splash pad with geysers, dumping buckets and an eight-lane 50-meter competitive pool.  Hours of operation can be found online.

Eagle Pool, 1425 N. Oak Street at Home Avenue, has diving boards, zero depth tot pool with alligator slide and bubblers and a mid-size pool. Hours of operation can be found online.
