Palatine Seeks Nominations for 2012 Hometown Pride Awards

The village of Palatine is looking to recognize properties in Palatine with outstanding landscaping and curb appeal for the 2012 Hometown Pride Award. Feel free to nominate yourself, your neighbor, a subdivision entrance or even a business.

Nomination forms are available at www.palatine.il.us.  Completed forms with a 4x6 picture (or digital photo) of the property must be returned by Friday, July 20, 2012 to the Village of Palatine Department of Public Works, 148 W. Illinois Ave., Palatine, IL 60067

Judging will take place on Monday, July 23, 2012.  Winners will be notified by mail shortly thereafter.  Judges are looking for “curb appeal” and will be considering ONLY the front of the property visible from the street.
