Palatine Farmers' Market Opens 23rd Season This Saturday

The Palatine Farmers' Market will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Palatine Metra Station parking lot.

The count down is on and the opening is less than a week away for the Palatine Farmer's Market!  All of the regular vendors and a few new ones will be in the Train Station parking lot Saturday morning, May 4th for the opening day of the Market Season.

Early organic leafy greens, onions, and potatoes will be available along with meats, eggs, cheeses, butter, breads, jellies, jams, honey, flowers, herbs, soaps, pastas, sauces, pickles, salsas, spices, pottery, gourds, marinades, oils, pesto, cookies, mushrooms and more.

Chris the knife sharpener will be honing blades - including lawn mower blades - and the Illinois Master Gardeners will be solving garden problems. What better way to kick off the season than by remembering Mom.

Lester's Bison Farm and Maggie's Munchies are pleased to sponsor our 2nd "Plant a Pansy for Mom" Mother's Day event on Saturday May 4th and May 11th.  Graciously hosted by the Illinois Master Gardeners Association, the gardeners will be lending a helping hand to the little ones as they plant their Mom a flower.  You're never too old to remember your Mom so stop by and plant a flower just for her!

The Palatine Farmers' Market starts at 7 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the Palatine Metra Station parking lot.
