The Palatine Park District's Turkey Trot returns to , 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Building A, Thanksgiving morning.
The is Thursday Nov. 17. The cost for those who pre-register is $25. The cost to register the day of the race is $30.
Participants can pre-register online or the , 250 E. Wood St.or at the , 435 W. Illinois Ave.
Last year more than 1,000 runners participated in the two mile race and about 500 in the five mile race. This will be the 31st year the race has been run.
The tow mile race will begin at 8 a.m., the five mile race at 9 a.m. and the drumstick dash for children 10 and younger will be at 10 a.m.
