Palatine Boys Gymnastics Score Big at Meme Memorial Invitational

This past weekend, boys involved in Palatine Park District gymnastics competed at the Meme Memorial Invitational in Round Lake and took home a number of honors.

This past weekend, boys on the Palatine Park District gymnastics team brought home a number of awards from the Meme Memorial Invitational.

The competition was held at American Eagle Gymnastics in Round Lake. Four boys from Palatine took home individual awards, and one Palatine team took home the first place trophy.

The first place honor was won by the team made up of Deagan Stoner, Alec Petersen, Charlie Grossman and John Pirone. The boys are on the Level 4 Team, whose participants range from seven to eight years of age.

A.J. Krambeer, and Armaan Athwal placed first in All Around for Level 6, Benjamin Mears placed second in All Around on the Level 5 team, and Dominic Filichia took home third place All Around for Level 5.

Way to go, boys! We are proud of you! - especially our first team award! Just one small correction. Ben Mears received the 2nd place All Around for level 5, 7 year old.
