Lake Zurich Beats Out Fremd at Football Season Opener
Fremd football was defeated at home Friday night by the Lake Zurich Bears.
The Lake Zurich Bears football team defeated the Fremd Vikings 24-0 on Friday night during the season opener, the Daily Herald reports.
The home game for Fremd was delayed an hour due to severe weather, the paper reported, and Fremd Head Coach Lou Sponsel said it came down to the Bears being more physical than the Vikings - but vowed they would work on it immediately.
