Tryouts for Palatine Girls Feeder Basketball are being held at Palatine High School, 111 N Rohlwing Rd in Palatine for the upcoming 2011-2012 season. Girls in 4th through 8th grades that live within the boundaries of Palatine High School are eligible for the teams.
The Palatine Feeder Program has been in existence for more than ten years. Many of the current and past Palatine High School girl players have participated in this program. The program runs on a volunteer basis with all positions supporting the betterment of the program. Fees are charged to cover practice gym time, game gym time, tournaments, referee fees and miscellaneous expenses necessary to run the program. Unlike some other sports organizations, the goal of our program is to prepare girls for high school basketball, and so we have a relationship with the coaching staff at Palatine High School. The coaches communicate what they want to see, and we do our best to develop those skills in the girls that participate in our program.
