Midtown Palatine Football Training Camp

Midtown Athletic Club Palatine has tapped six-year NFL tight end  Richard Angulo as its newest personal trainer and together, will help launch a football training program targeting high school players across the area this spring. 

 

A member of the Chicago Bears 2005 Super Bowl roster, the 6’8” Angulo was a walk-on at Division II Western New Mexico State and through hard work and dedication, was selected by the St. Louis Rams in the 2003 NFL draft.

“My own experience taught me that if you set a goal and stick to your plans anything is possible and that’s the attitude I hope to inspire as a personal trainer and to the football program participants,” says Angulo.

The football training sessions begin on Saturday, April 16, 9 a.m., at the Falcon Park Recreation Center, and will continue on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m.  Participants can register for six sessions that meet weekly or 12 sessions that meet twice a week.  Sessions will be one hour in length and consist of position technique, speed and agility training, footwork and football awareness and team concept.

 

Membership at Midtown Athletic Club is not required for participation.
