Comcast SportsNet Plus to Air IHSA Football Pairings

BLOOMINGTON–-The Illinois High School Association and Comcast SportsNet Chicago have announced jointly that the “2011 IHSA Football Playoff Pairing Release Show” will air live from 8 to 10 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet PLUS (CSN+) on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The two-hour program will be the first time that the postseason football brackets are revealed, as 256 qualifying teams across eight classes discover their first round opponents.

Comcast Cable and RCN viewers in the Chicago market can watch this CSN+ program on CLTV. For all other distributors/affiliates carrying Comcast SportsNet Chicago on their systems, the pairings show will be made available on CSN+. Viewers are urged to visit CSNChicago.com or IHSA.org for exact channel location information in their area.

The “2011 IHSA Football Playoff Pairing Release Show” will be hosted by Comcast SportsNet’s Sarah Kustok and longtime IHSA TV Network personality Dave Bernhard.

The show will feature a slew of guests, including coaches and media from across the state. Plus, interviews, analysis, highlights and feature segments from all over Illinois will be included in the telecast, which will be produced out of CSN’s Chicago studios.
