Golf Outing Held To Benefit Pregnancy Counseling and Education Center in the Northwest Suburbs

(Inverness, IL) - Gather your foursome and enjoy a relaxing day of golf at Society for the Preservation of Human Dignity’s, PHD 9th Annual Golf Outing held on July 10, 2013 at Makray Memorial Golf Club in Barrington, IL. “We have a great day of golf and fun planned, “says Mark Lafferty, this year’s Golf Outing Chairperson, CDW employee and former board member for PHD.

The event begins with registration and breakfast at 8:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9:00am, and concludes with a barbeque lunch buffet and awards presentation at 2pm. The day of golf includes a full round of golf and contests including, Beat the Pro, a rubber duck drive, and a chance to win $10,000 by getting a Hole-in-One sponsored by Palatine Bank & Trust.
Plenty of opportunities are available to win baskets filled with prizes and raffles throughout the day including rounds of golf, wine, restaurant gift certificates and massages.

During the luncheon and awards presentation guests will receive recognition for their performance on the course and will have the chance to win four tickets to a 2013/2014 Blackhawks home game. Proceeds from the event will go to support programs and services PHD provides to women and children struggling with complex pregnancy and parenting and issues. “PHD provides all programs and services with the help of a dedicated group of volunteers who treat the women, children, families and teens they serve with respect and dignity,” explains Lafferty. “Join me in support of PHD by registering for a round of golf, signing up to sponsor a hole, or both”, encourages Lafferty.
