Students at 7 District 15 Schools Allowed to Transfer to Hoffman Estates School
Frank C. Whiteley in Hoffman Estates met Adequate Yearly Progress while the seven elementary schools did not, according to the Daily Herald.
Up to 55 students at seven Palatine Township Elementary District 15 schools will have the option of transferring to Frank C. Whiteley in Hoffman Estates due to benchmarks in place under the No Child Left Behind Act, according to the Daily Herald.
The seven schools include: Jane Addams, Virginia Lake, Lake Louise, Lincoln, Kimball Hill, Central Road and Gray M. Sanborn elementary schools, according to the article. The schools failed to meet Adequate Yearly Progress for two years in a row, while Frank C. Whiteley did make AYP, according to the Daily Herald.
