Just two weeks ago, the Pirates ripped the Saxons 51-18 in the final regular-season game for both teams. The victory gave Palatine the Mid Suburban West title for the second consecutive year.

Palatine (9-1) will look duplicate the defensive effort that the Pirates had in their first meeting with Schaumburg. In that game, the Palatine defense led by Jesse Bobbit, Dan Riddle, Luke Rago, Tom McHugh, Josh Baldus, Kevin Riggs, John Serio and Cam Kuska held Schaumburg (*-2) to just one first down in the first half. The Pirate defense held the Saxon starting offense to just 4 first downs, 80 yards of total offense.

Meanwhile the high-flying Pirate offense, led by quarterback Ethan Olles, will hope to continue to plunder. Palatine, which is coming off a 69-point performance in the opening round of the playoffs last week against Niles West, is averaging more than 44 points per game.

So come on out and root the Pirates onto victory!
