Palatine's Dr. Bob Receives Top State Psych Award

Palatine High School Psychologist Robert Ingraham has been honored by the state.

Palatine High School Pyschologist Robert Ingraham received the Illinois School Psychologists Association "Ted Smith" Practionier of the Year Award.

The award has been presented annually since 1983. It recognizes the state's person who is most outstanding in the practice of school psychology. A press release from Township High School District 211 states that during his career, "Dr. Bob" as he is known, has completed more than 1,000 case study evaluations.

He also has participated in more than 12,000 parent meetings and IEP conferences, and facilitated more than 100 different support groups.

The press release states that one administrator wrote that "It is almost impossible to put on paper the impact 'Dr. Bob' has had on the students, staff,parents, interns and school psychologists not only in High School District 211, but well beyond the district boundaries.
