The Palatine Pirates sailed past the Hersey Huskies to finish 49-14 Friday night. A big win for the team, bumping the Pirates up from No. 12 to No. 11 on the Chicago Tribune’s Illinois high school football rankings this week.
At home, the Palatine Pirates got off to a strong start, returning the opening kickoff 88 yards, the Daily Herald reports.
