Palatine Schools: School Back in Session Friday, Feb. 4

Township High School District 211 and Community Consolidated School District 15 both will be open Friday, Feb. 4.

After two straight snow days, the school districts are resuming operations. District 211 also went ahead with some events that had been scheduled for Thursday evening.

District 211's web site states that the Fremd High School girls basketball team will host Conant High School as planned. Also, the IHSA wrestling seeding meet at Schaumburg High School will go on as planned at 7 p.m. Schaumburg High School also is hosting a regional girls gymnastics competition.

Other activities that will go on include the Jazz and Java Concert at Fremd High School and a performance of the Palatine High School musical production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
