Palatine High School To Present "Harvey" For Fall Play

Palatine High School will present "Harvey" for its fall play.

will present its fall play, “Harvey,” a comedy written by Mary Chase about Elwood P. Dowd and his imaginary six-and-a-half-foot tall rabbit.

Performances are Thursday, Oct. 20; Friday, Oct. 21; and Saturday, Oct. 22, beginning at 7 p.m. in the school’s Altergott Auditorium (1111 N. Rohlwing Road in Palatine).

In the play, Veta, Elwood’s eccentric sister, decides she cannot tolerate Harvey any more, so she commits Elwood into a sanitarium. Problems arise when Veta herself is mistakenly assumed to be on the verge of lunacy and is committed instead of Elwood.
