Palatine High School Dinner and Auction Tickets Still Available

The annual Dinner and Auction will be held Friday, February 22 at the Cotillion. All proceeds support programs and initiatives that ultimately enrich the Palatine High School experience for students.

The Palatine High School Pirate Booster Club presents “Catch the Pirate Spirit,” the group’s annual Dinner and Auction fundraising event, on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6:30pm to 11:00pm at The Cotillion Banquets, 360 S. Creekside Avenue.

The event includes hors d’oeuvres, dinner, cash bar, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, prize raffle, live entertainment, DJ, silent auction and live auction. Tickets are still available at www.phspirateboosters.com for $55 each, or a table of ten seats can be purchased for $500.

The dinner and auction is open to all, you do not need to be a member of the booster club to attend. Dress is casual; attendees are encouraged to wear anything from their favorite “Pirate Spirit” gear to their favorite gown or tux, or anything in between.

The annual dinner auction has been enhanced this year with the addition of entertainment provided by Ken Mate, a standup comedian and magician. Ken will provide entertainment before and during the dinner hour. Additional musical entertainment will be provided by Entertainment Productions.

Auction items include: Emmy Awards package of two tickets to the 65th primetime Emmy Awards Show on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. This award winning prize has been donated by the five teens who founded Food 4 Thought—Thomas Judd from Palatine High School and four of his friends from Barrington and Cary Grove High Schools—to support the charity Blessings in a Back Pack.

Other donated prizes include 4 VIP tickets and meet and greet passes to see Bill Cosby on October 25 at the Chicago Theater, along with transportation from your home to the theater, and back again after the show.

Additionally, there are tickets to the One Night of Queen tribute concert on March 8 at the Akoo Theater in Rosemont, 4 box seat tickets to a Chicago White Sox game, and greens fees and carts for 4 at Makray Memorial Golf Course.

Two of the popular experience prizes that have been donated this year include a Palatine Police Department ride along with tour, and the opportunity to be Palatine Mayor for a Day.

The annual dinner and auction is the main fundraising event for the PHS Pirate Boosters, providing funds for scholarships and programs that benefit all students at Palatine High School.
