To continue the outstanding education that District 211 has provided and continue the prudent financial approach.

How do you propose to sustain a quality education for students who attend District 211 schools with continual cuts to education and the burden of growing pensions costs?

We continually reprioritize spending choices and will work with what we have. Pension costs for district 211 have not yet changed. We have prepared for pension changes for the past 6 six years and are prepared to pay for and adapt to any changes that are made.

Do you believe District 211 is doing all it can to prepare its students for college? If yes, why? If no, why, and what changes would you propose?

Yes. We offer a curriculum full of college preparatory course. We offer dual credit courses. We host college nights in multiple languages for students and families. We host college financing seminars. 85 percent of our students are college bound.

What, if any, improvements would you like to see in the way the board is run?

None. The board isn't run. The board follows standard parlimentary procedure protecting the rights of minority interests to be heard and issues debated. Ultimately decisions are made based upon the decision of the majority. These democratic principals are the cornerstone of district 211 board policy. Even the board policy can be changed.

Additional comments and/or information you deem important for District 211 voters to know about you.

District 211 has provided a high quality stable, sustainable, and accountable high school educaiton. I intend to continue that effort.
