District 211 Approves iPad Lease Agreement

Following a pilot program last year that District 211 teachers said improved student learning, the district has signed a lease agreement with Apple, according to the Daily Herald.

District 211 students will have the chance to work on fourth-generation iPads next school year after the board of education on Thursday approved a three-year lease agreement with Apple, according to the Daily Herald. 

The district will receive 7,000 of the new devices for its five high schools, which will cost the district about $1.13 million per year over the next three year years, according to the article.
