With a winter storm in the forecast, please be advised that we will monitor weather conditions to determine if any action needs to be taken.

Here's a reminder about where to find information about emergency school closings. District 15 rarely closes schools because of weather or other emergencies. Please do not call individual schools for emergency closing information. If a snow day is called, that decision is made by 5 a.m. and announcements follow shortly thereafter. Emergency or weather-related school closing information is available in a variety of ways:

Severe Weather/Schools Open
When severe weather conditions exist and schools remain open, parents must decide whether their children can get to school safely. Parents should review their own situation to determine if they should send their children to school. Snow, ice, and extremely cold temperatures may affect bus pick-up and drop-off times, sometimes causing buses to run late. Please visit Emergency School Closings for more information.
