Township High School District 211 approved raises for administrators and non-union employees after a closed session at its May 24 board of education meeting, according to an article in the Daily Herald.

Non-union employees will receive a 3 percent salary increase, while the raises for administrators will be tied to performance evaluations, after . In the past, raises were the same across the board regardless of performance.

Non-union employees—which includes cafeteria, technology services, transportation, clerical and maintenance exempt workers—comprise 12 percent of the district's personnel and total raises will cost $280,000, the article states.
