D-15 Students Donate Toys for Tots

Students from Marion Jordan School and Lincoln School conducted their "Fill the Bus" event Monday for Palatine's Toys for Tots campaign.

Students from several Community Consolidated School District 15 schools participated in the village's annual "Toys for Tots" drive.

On Monday, Dec. 13, students from several elementary schools, including Marion Jordan and Lincoln School, helped fill a school bus with toys. The toys will be delivered to the Palatine Village Hall by members of the Palatine police and fire departments.

Palatine Assistant Village Manager Sam Trakas said that toys donated this year already have surpassed last year's total.
