Fremont Street Theater Company premieres ANYTHING GOES!
New Palatine Theater Company brings 2011 Tony Award® Winning Show ANYTHING GOES to Cutting Hall in Palatine for two weekends August 10th through the 19th.
The Fremont Street Theater Company will premiere its first production, Anything Goes, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, August 10 at historic Cutting Hall in Palatine. The show will run the two weekends of August 10-12 and 17-19 for a total of six performances. Tickets are available online through the Cutting Hall Box Office, or by calling (847) 202-5222.
Fremont Street founder and local attorney and musician, Sandy Sandquist, has assembled a veteran production team for Anything Goes, including director, Madeline Franklin; musical director, Ken McMullen; and Chicago actress, dancer and singer Dina DiCostanzo, who returns to her hometown to choreograph this tap dancing show that features the magical score of the incomparable Cole Porter.
A production involving more than sixty people, cast members include the local talent of Drew Leigh Williams of Chicago in the starring role of Reno Sweeney and Amy Orman of Chicago as the debutante Hope Harcourt. Drew and Amy come to Palatine along with choreographer DiCostanzo having just worked together in Drury Lane’s production of Hairspray in Oakbrook. Other actors include Kevin Goss of Lake in the Hills as Billy Crocker, Scott Bussert of Streamwood as Moonface Martin, Stephen Pickering of Fox River Grove as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh, Judith Ross of Palatine as Evangeline Harcourt, Julie Koerner of Northbrook as Erma and recent Jeff Award winning actor Chuck Sisson of Barrington as the hard-drinking tycoon Elisha Whitney.
