KidsSkateFree.com spreads across the country
KidsSkateFree.com is a nationwide initiative to help fight childhood obesity by participating roller rinks around the country.
A grassroots initiative by roller rink owners nationwide is catching on in a big way. To date, 88,000 children are signed up to skate free at their local participating roller rink. Roller Skating burns up to 500 calories an hour while having fun in the original social network.
Here's how it works: Parents sign up their children 12 and under for free at www.kidsskatefree.com. Each week they receive 2 free skate passes for their children to skate at designated sessions at their local participating rink.
That's it, get free passes and go roller skating. If your children do not know how to skate, most rinks have very affordable classes.
