Both Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass and Crain's Chicago Business political writer Greg Hinz note today that Attorney General Lisa Madigan is being treated more like a regular candidate these days than as an heiress to the governorship. (Kass gets creative, adapting a fairy tale to get his point across and referring to Madigan's powerful father as "the great and terrible Khan.")
