Want to Vote for Palatine Races? Voter Registration Deadline is Tomorrow

If you want to vote in elections that affect you as a Palatine or Palatine Township resident, the last day you can register through the Palatine Village Clerk's office is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12.

The April 9 Consolidated Election is less than a month away, and if you want to register with the Palatine Village Clerk’s office, you have until tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12 to do it.

Local elections include the District 15 School Board, District 211 School Board, Palatine Park District, Palatine Township and Village of Palatine. 

Four candidates are running for two open seats on the Palatine Park District Board.

The District 15 School Board has a total of nine candidates running for four open seats. Palatine Patch will be publishing candidate questionnaire answers from the candidates on Wednesday, March 13.

There are five candidates vying for four open seats on the District 211 School Board. Palatine Patch will be publishing candidate questionnaire answers from the candidates on Wednesday, March 20.

The Republican slate for Palatine Township that will be running in the April election was determined after the February 26 primary.

The only Democratic challenger for Trustee is Democrat Dexter Stokes.

The . All of the village races are uncontested.

The grace period for registration and voting is Wednesday, March 13 through Saturday, April 6. Unregistered voters must register at either one of the suburban courthouses during this period, or at the Cook County Clerk’s downtown Chicago office at 69 W. Washington Street, Room 500.
