Presidential Candidate Herman Cain: 'Raise Some Cain in 2012'

Herman Cain was the only presidential candidate to speak at the Tea Party Midwest convention in Schaumburg.

Presidential candidate Herman Cain told a supportive crowd to stay informed and inspired during the 2012 election season.

Cain was the only candidate to speak live at TEACON 2011, the Tea Party's Midwest convention.

"Don't be ashamed," he said. "It is your right and responsibility. They want you to believe they can't to this."

Cain was the clear leader of a presidential straw poll conducted at the event, receiving more than 75 percent of the votes.

A straw poll in Florida last week came out in Cain's favor. He said it was a message "to the media and to the establishment."

"The voice of the people is more powerful than the voice of the media," he said. "And the message is more important than the money. We the people are still in charge of this country."
